| Is site designing really tough? | | I think if people know basics of HTML and CSS then then one can design good sites.
but in recent technological era most of the popular or professional site is based on CMS.
Most popular CMSes are DRUPAL, JOOMLA which is based on PHP,MYSQL which is the basic need to make a dynamic website other than HTML and CSS.

| | Web Site Look and Question | | Hi all,I got my own business web site that I made about a couple weeks ago. The address is located on http://www.bostwickdesigns.comIt is a service that I created to design web sites and currently also to post up my writings as well so that I could get hired for that as well. There is a form posted on there for people to sign up to hire me for a service. Right now, I didn't put a phone number yet due to not having long distance but perhaps at some point, I will only when I have my own phone and can afford to pay it whenever I need to.I also got a matching domain email address when I got my domain and same with hosting as well. With that as well, I also put up a business AIM name just for that purpose as a point of contact.There are also links to some of the web sites I built and designed myself. You could say that it is apart of my business and I thought something like that would be good to see only so that way clients can get an idea on what I can do though I probably will redesign some of the sites at some point.My question concerns possibly thinking about making templates. | Web Site Design | | Do you design web sites? If so, do you use any type of web site design software? I personally, write everything out by hand, because it's easier for me to control that way. It's more complicated, but for me, it's easier. I also use the software Dreamweaver, when I can't figure out what to do with an option on my web site. | |

| ugggh....design block... | | i dunno what to call this...i know there is writer's block. but is there such a thing as designer's block? i have a client who comes to me when she doesn't know what she wants. i have already submitted 6 designs but she doesn't like any of them. sometimes she would say that i am not inspired in my designs.oh God!!! i really need to free my mind. she wants something elegant. i designed her something fresh. and she doesn't like it. i am at a loss now. what do i do? i guess i need to lie down and think of my designs. my client doesn't like what i did so far...argggh...what do you call this condition? lack of inspiration? creative inspiration? creativity? | |

| website easy in design: tabled layout or tableless | | i think it is easy to manage tabled layout rather than tableless.
then why tableless layour are prefered. i am not sure if they could benefit more.
what are your views. tell me if there is any specific reason behind this.

| | Neobux design | | Sorry if someone has already made a discussion about this, did my best to search for it but found no discussions about it...I just went to Neobux to click the daily ads and was in for a big surprise... The Design of the site was completely changed, if you haven't seen it yet, go to NeoBux and see for yourself, you'll certainly notice the change if you've used the site before...I personally think the new design looks horrible, all the colors have been stripped off and now it looks all business, that's not the way Neobux should look in my opinion... I loved the old design, partly because of the colors but this new one just sucks. I actually thought for a moment that they had scammed and sold the domain, scared the heck out of me:DDoes anybody know anything about the change, reasons or something?
